What shape goes in the intersection of this **Venn Diagram**?

Read on for the answer:

A quick reminder:

**KITES:** have two pairs of adjacent equal sides.

**TRAPEZIA:** have one pair of parallel sides. One of them is called a **trapezium**; more than one is trapezia.

**AND NOW THE ANSWER: ** any any shape with both of these properties must have all four sides the same length. The answer is therefore **RHOMBI **(the plural of “**rhombus**” – the correct mathematical name of a “diamond” shape).

**NOTE:** if you said “**squares**” you are only partly correct: all the other rhombi need to go in the intersection too!
